Important TikTok limitations
TikTok frequently varies pages by region, account status and device. A post visible in one browser may be unavailable to the transcription verifier. Login-only, private, deleted, live, age-gated and region-restricted posts are not supported.
Speech transcription does not perform OCR on captions baked into the picture and does not describe silent visual events. If the meaning depends on text overlays, music-only timing or visual context, review those elements manually.
Creators should verify names, slang, hashtags and fast dialogue carefully. Short-form audio often mixes music, effects and speech, which can make an automatic draft less reliable than a close, clean voice recording.

What the transcript contains
The result is based on spoken audio. Text that appears only on screen, stickers, the post caption and comments are not included. Background music, sound effects and lip-sync audio can make speech harder to recognise or produce lyrics in the transcript, so review those segments before reuse. If a video has trending audio with no speech, the transcript may be very short or empty.
Links that work and links that do not
Paste the link to one specific public post. Profile pages, the For You feed, live streams, private accounts and region-restricted posts are not supported. Each link is checked before a task is created, but a post can still become unavailable between the check and extraction. If a link fails, download your own video from TikTok and upload it as a file; the video to text workflow extracts audio in your browser so the full video is not uploaded.

TikTok transcript generator: how to copy the right link
Media2Text accepts the full address of one public TikTok video, in the form tiktok.com/@username/video/ followed by the video number. On a phone, the Share button often gives a short link; open it in a browser first and copy the full address from the address bar. If link import is temporarily unavailable or a video is blocked, save your own video and upload the file instead.
