Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Media2Text. By using the service, you agree to them. If you use Media2Text for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
The service
Media2Text converts supported audio and video into text, timestamps, speaker labels and export formats. Some features are experimental or marked as coming soon. During the open beta, functionality, limits and availability may change as we improve the product.
Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of content you submit and the output produced from it. You grant Media2Text a limited right to host, process, transmit and format that content solely as needed to operate and secure the service. You represent that you have all necessary rights, notices and consents to record, upload and process the content, including consent required for other people's voices or personal data.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law; infringe privacy, publicity or intellectual-property rights; distribute malware; evade security controls; overload or reverse engineer the service; generate deceptive impersonations; or process content that exploits or endangers children. Automated access must follow published limits. We may restrict access needed to prevent harm or abuse.
Transcription accuracy
AI transcription can mishear words, names, numbers and speakers, especially with noise, accents or overlapping speech. Outputs are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate and must be reviewed before use. Do not rely on Media2Text as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other high-impact decisions.
Accounts, beta access and availability
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Open-beta access is currently offered without a payment card, but we may introduce plans or limits with advance notice before charging you. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features and do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Intellectual property
The Media2Text software, interface, brand and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights. Feedback may be used to improve the service without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly as its source without permission.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. You are responsible for using the service in compliance with privacy and recording laws that apply to you.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Media2Text will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities arising from the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Termination and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement or security risk. We may update these terms as the product changes; material updates will be indicated by a new effective date or an additional notice where appropriate.
